How’s Your Fight?
Not just your average Christian.
Many don’t realize that Christians are soldiers.
We may not be in a physical battle right now, but we are involved in a spiritual battle. There is a battle going on between light and darkness–between the forces of God and the forces of evil. Everything is at stake.
The enemy will use a multitude of different tactics to try to drag us off to go his way. He may tempt us with addictions, lustful thoughts or bad habits. He wants us to sin, to disobey God, and to be cursed.
Every day we must choose to do what pleases God. Daily we fight temptations and discouragement. We keep on fighting even when it’s difficult because we know that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. We know that God’s Spirit within us is far greater than what we are fighting against.
You’re His mighty warrior.
You may be fighting small battles & personal struggles which seem insignificant to others. The truth is, they are actually very important in the grand scheme of life. God can use these small, daily victories to develop our strength, maturity and character.
The battle that we are in is not a battle that we can fight with our own strength. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit gives us the power to overcome any temptation. If you feel broken and unqualified, don’t lose hope. A once broken person in the hands of a mighty God can become a mighty warrior.
Remember: We are in a constant spiritual fight, but if we’re on God’s side, we are on the winning team!
What God wants:
- Make you a mighty warrior for His kingdom.
- Empower you to fight off the attacks of the enemy.
- Give you wisdom and strength to overcome every temptation.
- What kind of things do I struggle with?
- Which side am I on?
- How will I overcome temptations?
