Imagine for a moment that someone is knocking at the door of your house. You have a choice to make. Will you choose to ignore them, tell them to go away or invite them in? In the Bible, Jesus says that He is knocking at the door of each of our lives. He desires to come in and give us the free gift of eternal life, but we must welcome Him.
He won’t enter where he’s not invited or wanted. If we open the door of our life to Him and receive Him as our Savior, He will come in. Some may choose to ignore him or turn Christ away and refuse His gift. Is this what you want for your life?
However, when anyone truly believes and receives Jesus, He gives them the wonderful privilege of becoming children of God.

what is the gospel?
what is salvation?
HI Judah! Thanks so much for your message!
The “gospel” is what we call the message about Jesus and His love for the world! 🙂 We can read this message in the New Testament, in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Jesus came to earth, and was born of a virgin, lived without sin, and ultimately sacrificed His life on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Because of Jesus, we can have a real relationship with the Creator of the world, who is a loving Father. When we pray and ask God to forgive our sins, then He will forgive us, and we become adopted into His family, as His sons and daughters.
“Salvation” is when we make a decision to surrender our lives to Jesus. Instead of living in sin and facing the consequence of sin (which is eternal death), Jesus saves us, and offers us a new life and promises us eternal life with Him in heaven. Jesus rescues us from sin and the consequences of sin. The complete meaning of “salvation” includes spiritual healing, emotional healing, and physical healing.
